Things went well with the new store opening. We stayed a little longer after the opening, and Bill was transferred again. This time, we were moving back to Ohio.
Before we started packing, we went out with a few friends one night and stopped at White Castle on our way home.
The next few days, I was feeling sick. I started to think I had food poisoning. I decided I'd better see the doctor.
As I was trying to explain to the doctor that I thought I had food poisoning, he thought he should do a pelvic exam. After the exam, he announced that I was pregnant. I was shocked!
I had been told I couldn't have any children. Now I had two, and this guy is telling me I'm having another? I said, "How did this happen?" Now his cute comeback was, "If you don't know by now, I'm not going to tell you!"
I was surprised, but I was really happy too.
Little did I know at the time what a blessing this new baby would be. Another reason why I praise Him!
"Write down for the coming generation what the Lord has done, so that people not yet born will praise Him." Psalm 102:18
